Orico U3BCH4 4-port USB Charger/Hub Review

Pros:

4 full-speed charge ports
Aesthetically pleasing design and solid build quality
Works as both a USB hub for data transfer and a charger
Fast USB 3.0 data transfer across multiple devices

Cons:

No Quickcharge 2.0

Conclusion: As the number of devices that charge by USB seems to increase every day, a multi-port charger is becoming more and more important to own. The Orico U3BCH4 charger is a great example of a hub/charger that combines charging and data transfer capability. While it doesn’t feature Quickcharge 2.0, my devices were able to charge at full 1A speed, which resulted in slightly better charging time than the original chargers that came with the devices. The real beauty in a device like this is in the compactness: it replaces 4 wall plugs with one, so that I can charge my tablet, phone, portable battery pack and mp3 player all at once and not have to fiddle with finding a bunch of charging bricks. For that purpose it works great and the USB 3 data transfer is just a bonus.
