Rating: 4.5/5

Pros:

  • 6 high speed charging ports (up to 2.4A)
  • AI charging offered on all ports
  • Everything built into a single case with no bulky power bricks
  • Solid build quality
  • Even and consistent distribution of power across multiple devices
  • Meets all safety certifications

Cons:

  • Slight speed loss with multiple high-drain devices plugged in
  • SUPER glossy plastic picks up finger prints

Conclusion:  As far as multi-chargers go, the Imuto has my recommendation. All six ports offer high speed charging, up to 10A total between the ports. My main test with any multi-port charger is to see if the power to my devices are consistent when all four ports were in use. The Imuto passed this test, offering steady power with no weird jumps or dips in current. The charger delivered a high-speed charge of 2.1A, my device maximum, when four ports were in use, but with all six ports in use it dropped down to 1.4A. This is still a more-than-acceptable charge speed as for the most part I will not be charging six devices at once. The only real complaint I have about this device is the glossy black finish – it picks up dust and fingerprints like a magnet which means it tends to look disgusting unless wiped with a microfiber cloth every few days. If you see the photos I took, you will notice that the device is covered in dust, even though literally all I did was unwrap it from the package, place it on my backdrop and take the pics. Despite that one complaint, I’m happy with this charger as it delivers a high speed charge with multiple ports.
